A clear acrylic polymer resin solution primarily for application to surfaces of freshly laid concrete where it has a double function, firstly to form a highly effective curing membrane and secondly is to act as an in-depth sealer for the hardened concrete rendering its surface dustproof and extremely hard wearing. Its secondary function and benefits are also applicable when the material is applied to existing concrete surfaces. Also available is a version for power-floated floor applications – ADOCURE SEALER PF

New concrete

Apply by fan-jet sprayer to achieve a coverage of between 4- 6 m^ per litre immediately after final finishing and when surface water is no longer evident.
Existing concrete
Apply by sprayer as above to surfaces that should be clean, sound and free of laitance oil, paint or any other contaminants. A dry surface is preferable as it permits easier penetration but a damp surface is acceptable providing there is no standing water. On very porous surfaces that will be evident by rapid absorption of the material, an additional coat will be required after the first has become touch-dry. On impermeable surfaces penetration will be improved by thinning the material with up to 20% white spirit. Apply a second coat if necessary, after the first has become touch-dry.

Touch Dry Time: 2 to 4 hours dependent upon temperature and wind, Hard Dry Time: 18 to 24 hours dependent upon temperature and wind Flash Point: 40°C

Apply the selected grade by spray at a rate of approximately 4-6 m^ per litre, taking care to ensure complete coverage. Immediately after use the spraying equipment should be thoroughly washed out with RESOKLENS

ADOCURE SEALER is based in a flammable solvent. Store in a cool, well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid any build-up of electrostatic charge in the immediate area. Ensure that lighting and electrical equipment nearby are not a source of ignition.

Practically unlimited in sealed containers.

Flash point is 40°C therefore liquid or vapour should not be exposed to naked flame and smoking should be prohibited. Avoid ingestion, contact with skin or eyes and prolonged inhalation of vapour. In the event of skin contact wash thoroughly. If ingested seek medical attention without delay. In the event of eye contact irrigate immediately with copious quantities of clean water and seek medical attention without delay.
