AQUABAR MASTIC is a liquid swelling and sealing hydrophilic polyurethane, that cures in approximately 24 hours to form a tough rubber like flexible seal.
AQUABAR MASTIC is supplied in handy 310 ml standard mastic cartridges for easy use with a standard cartridge gun. They are packed 24 cartridges per box
AQUABAR MASTIC will function in a wide range of temperatures and conditions. Its tack and filling properties will induce an initial seal and with the presence of water it expands, increasing the sealing pressure and preventing any further water leakage.
ADOMAST AQUABAR MASTIC expands by up to 200% after 10 full immersion to form a highly flexible elastic seal.
After hardening AQUABAR MASTIC has in addition to the sealing characteristics , a permanent bonding and a high swelling capacity. It is not suitable for surface applications and must not be applied in standing water.
Uses : Sealing of concrete joints; Sealing of tube penetrations in walls; Adhesive layer for Aquabar

Clean dirt, grease and debris from joint/area to be sealed, remove standing water.
Remove protective cap from base of cartridge, pierce nozzle end and cut nozzle to correct size.
Extrude bead from caulking nozzle, ensuring there is no break in the bead.
When new concrete is to be poured over AQUABAR MASTIC it is recommended that the mastic is allowed to cure before pouring.
– an average time of 24 hours. A concrete cover of minimum 8 cm has to be provided & it must be protected from rain and other sources of water during this period to prevent premature expansion.
When AQUABAR MASTIC is used as a bedding material for AQUABAR, apply a bead of sufficient size to fill surface irregularities and apply the ADOMAST AQUABAR without delay.
Supplementary fixing using cartridge nails should be carried out immediately if specified or required.

It is highly recommended to allow Aquabar Mastic sufficient curing time (dependent on ambient temperature & humidity) before starting the new concreting phase.

ADOMAST AQUABAR MASTIC should be stored in a cool and well ventilated area. Keep the containers dry and sealed.

Use opened cartridge within 24 hours, and use sealed cartridges within 6 months.

ADOMAST AQUABAR MASTIC is a non flammable preparation of polyurethane pre-polymers, fillers and additives that are harmful if not handled with care.
Wear protective eyewear and gloves when handling and using.
During application avoid contact with eyes and skin. In the event of eye contact irrigate immediately with copious quantities of water and then seek medical advice. In the event of skin contact, wash with soap and water.
