Adogrout
Powder Based Expanding Medium which Counter-acts Settlement and Shrinkage in Cement Based Grout
ADOGROUT is a powder based plasticising agent and expanding medium. It is combined into a cement based grout prior to adding the hydrating water.
The expanding technology generates gas during the hydration process to counter-act normal settlement and shrinkage and leaving a slight residual overall expansion.
Expansion takes place before initial set and a built in delaying action allows time for placing and compaction.
ADOGROUT when added to a cementitious mix also provides a positive expansion to ensure permanent high bond to all contact surfaces. Improved flow properties with lower water/cement ratio leading to higher compressive strengths are achieved.

Adogrout is on admixture in powder form that includes an expanding medium and plasticising agent The expanding medium generates gas during the hydration process counteracting normal settlement and shrinkage and leaving a slight overall expansion. Expansion takes place before initial set and a built in delaying action allows time for placing and compaction.
• A positive expansion to ensure permanent high bond to all contact surfaces
• Improved flow properties with lower water: cement ratios
• High compressive strengths
• A homogeneous mix free from bleeding and segregation
• Improved resistance to frost
Use
To 50 kilogrammes of Portland cement use 1 carton of Adogrout. The cement or cement and aggregates should be thoroughly mixed dry together with Adogrout. The gauging water should then be added to obtain the required consistency, keeping the mix as dry as possible, consistent with placing conditions. After mixing for a minimum of 3 minutes, material should be placed as soon as possible.
Adogrout reacts only with the cement paste in the matrix, therefore when using with normal concrete, such as a 1:2:4 mix the use of Adogrout should be doubled.
Adogrout is completely non hazardous; it is suitable for use with all Portland cements but should not be used with High Alumina Cement
