ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL Polymeric coating provides a clear, tough and water repellent protection to exterior surfaces, such as concrete, natural stone, brick and block paving. It also binds together surface particles producing a toughened self-cleaning finish and penetrates hair line cracks to provide a flexible seal.
ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL restricts moisture penetration to give excellent resistance to the effects of weathering and atmospheric pollution and will not yellow after prolonged exposure.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be sound, clean, free of cracks, and all traces of dust, paint, oil or other contaminants. Any surface moisture will hinder penetration, therefore the surface should be dry to the touch. Joints in paving should be sound, but if not they should be raked out and repointed with sand/cement mortar incorporating ADOBOND SBR or similar stabilizer.

Any cracks in concrete should be treated in a similar manner.

Application New Concrete

Apply by fan-jet sprayer to achieve a coverage of between 4- 6 m² per litre immediately after final finishing and when surface water is no   longer evident.

Existing Concrete

Apply by sprayer as above to surfaces that should be clean, sound and free of laitance oil, paint or any other contaminants. A dry surface is recommended as it permits easier penetration. On very porous surfaces that will be evident by rapid absorption of the material, an additional coat will be required after the first has become touch-dry. Apply a second coat if necessary, after the first has become touch-dry. Best results will be obtained by use of a spray. This should be a low pressure, airless type without atomisation of material form the nozzle.  Spray at a rate of 5m² per litre and use a squeegee or long haired roller to create uniform and consistent coating on the surface. Should a second coat be required the above process should be repeated & if a less glossy appearance is required we recommend increasing the application rate to 6-9m² per litre.

Touch Dry Time: 2 to 4 hours dependent upon temperature/humidity and wind strength.  Hard Dry Time: 18 to 24 hours.

Treatment should not be undertaken in freezing temperatures (temperatures < 6°C). The treated surface should be protected from rain for at least 30 minutes following final application.  Avoid applying Adofloor /wall seal if rain is forecast within the recommended drying times.

Caution Care should be taken to ensure that ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL does not come into contact with surfaces which could be affected by solvents, such as paint.

Cleaning of Equipment: Immediately after use equipment should be emptied and then cleaned with white spirit or RESOKLENS.

Depending upon surface absorbency, 1 litre of ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL will cover 4-6 m² as a first coat and 4-9 m² as a second coat.

ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL is based in a flammable solvent with a flash point of 38°C. Store in a cool well ventilated area. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid any build-up of electrostatic charge in the immediate area. Ensure that lighting and electrical equipment nearby are not a source of ignition. In the event of a fire use CO2 or foam type extinguishers.

12 months from date of manufacture.

ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL is manufactured by Adomast Manufacturing Ltd and shall be applied strictly in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. For specific advice regarding any aspect of this product please consult our Technical Department

ADOFLOOR & WALL SEAL should not be ingested, if ingested seek urgent medical attention. Pro-longed inhalation of the vapour and contact with the skin and eyes should be avoided. If eyes are affected by contact with wash with copious quantities of clean water and seek medical attention without delay.
