Quality Statement
The management at Adomast Ltd shall establish and implement a Quality Policy that is both appropriate to the business of the Company and easily understood and implementable by the staff of the Company in all positions.
The Quality Policy shall demonstrate a commitment by the Company to comply with the requirements of the Quality Assurance System and have provisions to assess and continually improve the standards by which the Company carries out its production and service to its customers.
A framework will be implemented to review the quality objectives and amend/improve where appropriate any system to maximise the efficiency of those procedures carried out by staff within the Company.
These will be relayed to employees by means of regular meetings to discuss working practices, give and receive feedback and ensure procedures are followed as per instructions.
Environmental & Waste Management Policy
Adomast Ltd shall carry out its business activities with due consideration to any possible environmental consequences.
It is recognised that the management has a duty to minimise, so far as is reasonably practicable, any adverse effects on the environment in all operations carried out by the Company. Meeting this requirement will entail the implementation, monitoring and control of measures in such fields as:

To ensure that environmental issues are fully taken into account the Company will provide any training that is required to achieve the aims of this Policy.
The Activities of Adomast Ltd and Potential Effects on the Environment
The commercial activities of Adomast Ltd are based upon the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of chemical formulations for use in the construction industry.
Products
Formulations are developed and improved, where possible, to increase the use of water based reactants and to reduce the use of solvent based compounds.
Materials
All materials used by the Company are subject to COSHH assessment and action is taken to eliminate, where possible, or otherwise control any hazardous substances in accordance with the legal requirement.
Packaging
Where available and appropriate, reclaimed raw materials are to be preferred. Packaging should be recycled or manufactured using a significant percentage of recycled material. Pallets should be recycled.
Processing
Processing machinery shall be used in an energy efficient manner and care taken not to leave machinery running, heaters on, or lights left on, when not necessary. In addition to the requirements of Health & Safety at Work, the Company shall continually look to improve the level of emissions, dust and noise from its works.
Waste Management
Competent contractors shall remove waste materials when reprocessing is not possible or practical. General waste should, where practical, be separated into recyclable and non-recyclable, with the aim of minimising the non-recyclable fraction.
Contractors
Where possible, preference shall be given to contractors that have an actively enforced environmental policy.
General
The activities of the Company are not limited by the scope of this document to look for any means that are appropriate for reducing the environmental impact of the Company's activities.
